Weird title, but It couldn't have been "Melted Crayons"
So I hot glued all the crayons on the canvas and then attempted to melt them with a hair dryer, like everyone else said they did. But! It didn't work. It took 5 minutes for one to start melting.
So my mom went downstairs and got out her embossing gun. It went a looott faster. I love this, it's really cool and has so much texture.
So yeah, enjoy~
EDIT: Thanks for all of the favs! It blew me away. Now, I do realize that this has been done. That's why I credited it. I didn't come up with this. The reason on why I made it is simply, because I liked those pictures and really wanted one to hang up in my room. So Yes, I know that it has been done and I copied it.
I agree with spoon. You did the work. You were simply inspired, is all. In my case, I am thinking I shall use Prang crayons. In my experience, they tend to melt a little better. Especially seeing as I only have a Heavy duty hair dryer, and not an embossing gun. I wish I had one of those, though.
