I had a great time at ACEn over 2 weeks ago. Though, I hadn't gotten around to writing a journal until now.
Friday:
We skipped school and left Wisconsin at 7 and we got there around 10:30. We were going to go to the Opening Ceremonies but we decided against it. My mom picked my sister and I up so we could go eat and change into our cosplays. Once we were back we walked around the Dealers room and Artist Alley a bit along with waiting in line for Johny Bosh which we got cut. Then we decided to go to Millennium Park because I had never been there. That was a mistake. We were waiting for my mom to pick us up again and I was doing color guard with Kisuke's sword and a couple girls ran up saying I was doing it wrong. Me:No I'm not. Them: Well we're in color guard. Me:And so am I. Them: oh...*walk away awkwardly* Yeah..
So We went to Millenium Park. It' took us 4 hours. We were trying to get there when our school's art club was there because they had a trip to Chicago that day. Stupid Traffic. We missed them. Well we went up to the bean thing and got some pictures. Two people came up to us and asked for pictures and then we got some pictures down by the waterfall thing. As we were walking to where we were going to get picked up, we met a couple of people waiting for the bus who yelled "ACEN is that way!" I yelled back that we had already been there. Later two girls ran off their coach bus to get hugs from us.
So back at the convention we tried to get in line for Vic Mignogna but it was already cut. The rest of the night consisted of not getting into the panel we wanted to go to, going around the artist alley and venders.

Saturday:
I walked around as Riku for a while, met up with , and just browsed. We went to lunch at wendys and I changed into Neku. My sister was Zelda. WHen we got back we went to the Legend of Zelda photoshoot, and then later the Kingdom hearts photoshoot. I think after that we went to the convention center and waited in line for Vic Mignogna which when we got inside the Autograph area and he just came in and talked we had to leave to go the masquerade..-.-''
We elbow our way over to the Hyatt and get in the participant line for the masquerade. We get lined up backstage and I make some friends(I don't know the names of some of them. The wolf's rain group after me They helped me get over my stage fright) We find out that the Iruka Riomi concert is running really late. We get to sit in and watch it as we are pulled out to get judged. I was like 12th in the masquerade. Judging went well. They liked my spikey hair. XD  So after the concert we get lined up backstage and they are really late. Literally 60 seconds before the MCs go on stage to start it, some idiot pulls the fire alarm.D:< We are all evacated outside for about 15 minutes. A couple of the people I met in front of me all had pretty much tanks on along with me and we huddled like penguins. I hugged a wolf from wolf's rain behind me to stay warm.
We are all finally taken back inside. Theres another 30 minutes getting everyone back in. They made the theme Fire! I loved it.
They start it and I get ready to go on, I'm standing on the side and the lady told me to go on when I hear my name. I nod and put my headphones on, she said she'll tap me cuz I couldn't hear very well. It was a lot of fun! I did the *FirePower* pose at the end and jammed off stage. I am definately gonna be in it next year despite the problems. It's my first Masquerade story^^

After, My sis and I try to get into Death Note Mafia but decide against it when we see the line. We meet up with a couple of her friends and I decide that I want to go back to the hotel. Amanda and her friends wanted to stay so I just told my mom to come pick me up. I guess they went to watch Spice and Wolf. I have to walk from the Hyatt to the Convention center fountains and the convention center is closed by now. So I have to walk through the people smoking outside the rave. Let's just say it was quite uncomfortable.
I get back to the hotel and about 30 minutes later my sister called me sayin she was lost. She took a wrong turn in the sky walks. I told her the convention center was closed.

Sunday:
We got up and got dressed. I was determined to go to one of Vic's panels. WE went to Sunday Morning with Vic. I hadn't known what it was going to be but I am so glad I went. It was amazing.  And we got to sit in the 2nd row. And he told us there was an impromtu autograph session later.
After that we walked around the artist alley and venders room. We got lunch at the convention center and dang was it expensive. I only got a hot dog and it was 4 bucks. Oh well, after that we went to the Masquerade feedback panel. My sister got the whole series of Black Blood Brothers free. Then they told us that they would know who pulled the fire extinguisher and was charged with assult and felony for pulling the fire extinguisher. They said they'd invite him next year and say they forgave him. Having a "special" panel just for him. Bring a sock full of soap and everyone gets to hit him once.
After that, we went to Vic's Autograph session and once they pulled out the 'password' line(the people who were cut the day before) we were only 7 th in line. Unfortuantly there was about 80 in the password line. We finally get into the autograph area and we are almost up to the front. It's like 3:50. Then he tells us that they have the room until 430. Thank you!! It's like 4:15 when we get up to him. I get him to sign my giant Sacred Star of Milos poster (In which he responded"Oh yeah!") and the movie and my sister bought one of his CDs (metafiction. Which I love) and a poster. She got those signed along with a picture of Ikkaku she drew. His words and I quote "My Boy!"WE both got pictures with him adn it was an amazing end to the convetnion. When we left we had to go out 'behind the scenes' because the venders were already tearing down. THe IRT's quote "YOU SHALL NOT PASS" It was funny.

Ahh. I had so much fun. Can't wait til next year.

Tracks almost done!(yes!) One meet left. I've been working and finally getting paid. Schools almost done for the year! (WOOOO) I didnt' make it into showchoir. (I'm on crew though) The Showchoir, crew and showband are going to New York City next March. I have 3 dance recitals next weekend and going to Ohio the weekend after that. THat's pretty much it.
